MSNBC: Sony halts music CDs with anti-piracy scheme

What about their current inventory? Are they going to continue selling it?
It appears that they are trying to pull it. Amazon is apparently treating the CDs containing the rootkit as defective.
We shall see how effective it is. Note the subsequent posts about the level of infection (maybe a half a million systems already?)
